An interesting observation on dandelions. By Aideen
There is a field full of dandelions at the back of our house. We saw that in daytime it was mostly yellow flowers but in the mornings there was no yellow only the white dandelion seeds that you can blow. So we went up early this morning to have a look why. The yellow flowers close up tight of a night time and don’t open until it’s gets warmer during the day.
The 1st picture is when it’s mostly yellow and the second picture looks like the yellow flowers have disappeared.
