The FTD Brothers, Jordan and Cian Adams, ran past our school as part of their journey of completing 32 marathons in 32 days in the 32 counties of Ireland. All the pupils came out to cheer them on with their flags, posters, bunting and balloons. Jordan and Cian Adams are completing this challenge to raise funds to find a cure for and support people with Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD).
We have been full of the joys of spring in Junior Infants! We made a big Spring Frieze together and each person made their own Cherry Blossom Tree.
In maths this week we have been looking at patterns. We made 2 colour patterns, 3 colour patterns and growing patterns.
We had fun during cardboard box week. With the large boxes we made forts, rockets and castles.
With the medium boxes we made the tallest towers we could.
And with the small boxes we made junk art.
