Teddy Bear's Picnic

 What a lot of fun we had on the astro turf having our Teddy Bears picnic. And we got a surprise when a real live teddy bear came to play with us!

Buddy came to visit us

 Mrs White brought her little dog Buddy to school on Friday for a visit. He is a quiet little dog who loves to be petted. So he was very happy in Junior Infants for the day.

School Tour

 I bet everyone is exhausted after our busy school tour today. We started off with a show in the Town Hall. Professor Plunger was a hoot and he gave us all a good laugh, especially when he kept picking on Mrs White and making her do very silly things! Then we had a picnic lunch at St Felim's National School across the road. After that we had a visit to the Garda station where Garda Seamus Herron showed us around. Then we walked down to the playground before heading home on the bus. Everyone had a great time and the sun shone on us all day!

Music on Wheels

The older classes in Killygarry School take part in Music Generation and as a finale to the programme, the Music on Wheels Experience came to our school yesterday. The show was made up of lively songs from the Music on Wheels band, interspersed with musicians from our own school playing tin whistles, violins, uileann pipes, guitars and keyboard. It was a very impressive show.
