Our Blue Day for Cavan

 We dressed up in our Cavan jerseys to wish Cavan well in the All-Ireland football semi-final.

We raised €600 for Make-a-Wish!

 Thank you so much to everyone who performed random acts of kindness in memory of little Beibhinn O Connor last Thursday. And thank you for donating to Beibhinn's favourite charity Make-a-Wish.ie

The great news is.... we raised €600! Wow, that is amazing. Well done everyone. That money will now be transferred straight to the make-a-wish.ie page.

Acts of Kindness for little angel Beibhinn

 This Thursday we will have no written homework. Instead we will do random acts of kindness for our each other in memory of a little girl called Beibhinn from Cork, who passed away with a heart condition in September. Her parents are hoping children all over Ireland will be kind to each other and to their families and think of Beibhinn while they do it. Then on Friday you can bring €2 to school to donate to the charity Make A Wish.ie in memory of Beibhinn. This is a charity which grants wishes to seriously ill children and their families.

Our Autumn Walk

 We went for a lovely Autumn walk up the lane beside the school. We found haws, conkers and mushrooms.

We jumped in the leaves. 

We saw lots of leaves turning Autumn colours.

Gymnastics

 We have been learning SO much from Diane, our gymnastics teacher. We have done bunny hops, bear walks, tuck jumps, 180 jumps, crabs, cartwheels and beginner handstands.
