Sports Day

We had a great day at Killygarry GAA grounds on Friday for our annual sports day. We had welly-throwing, sock race, sprints, relay, targets, parachute, obstacle course, egg and spoon race, 3-legged race and sack race!

Mini beast hunt

We had fun searching for mini beasts in the yard. We saw bees, moths, flies, slugs, ants and lots of other tiny creatures.

Healthy Living

The whole school has been talking about healthy living this month. We had to go home and invent an exercise and then show it to the class. We had fun trying out everybody's exercises at school!

School Tour to Lolo Town

We were lucky that the rain did not affect our school tour today- it was indoors in Lolo Town in Navan. It is a play-space which is laid out like a little town. There is a Garda station, Fire station, hair dressers, shop, cafe, school, hotel, farm and construction site. We had 2 hours to play. It was a great success.
