Spring Walk

We took advantage of the nice weather and went out for a walk to spot signs of spring.
We saw lambs, buds, daffodils and cows in the field.

Spring frieze

Here's the Spring frieze, which we all made together.
Look at the daffodils, the buds, the blossoms, the nest, the chicks, the hedgehog the lambs and the calves.

St Patrick's Day fun

World Book Day

We had fun dressing up for World Book Day!

Beautiful India

Thank you so much to Shania's mum who came in to tell us all about India. She and Shania wore their colourful saris. They showed us the flag of India, which is similar to the Irish one. They showed us so many photos of life in India and gave us samples of the aromatic spices which are used in Indian cooking. We also got a bangle each! What a lovely occasion.

Springtime Planting

We got some free bulbs from Woodies and we planted them and brought them home. How are they growing now??

Winter Snowmen

Road Safety

The Road Safety Authority came to our school to teach us all about being safe on the roads.

We learned:
  • Only cross at pedestrian crossings.
  • Always wear a high-visibility jacket when out walking or cycling on the road.
  • You must use a booster seat in the car until you reach 150cm  in height.
  • You cannot sit in the front seat of the car until you are 12 years old.
  • ALWAYS wear a seat belt when in a car.
