Have a lovely summer!

Goodbye and good luck to everyone in junior infants who are moving on to Senior infants. It was so much fun being your teacher this year. And thank you for the very generous present. That was very kind and thoughtful. We will never forget you all 💖💖💖         Louise and Mrs White

What a messy time we had!

Messy playtime was so much fun. We had different stations: 1. Shaving foam     2 . Oobleck (cornflour and water)    3. Soil and diggers       4. Sand        5. Bubbles and car wash

Thank you Ricardo

We really enjoyed basketball coaching with Ricardo this year. He is so patient with us and we learned a lot!

Sports Day

We had a busy day on Friday the 14th of June at our sports day in Breffni Park. We did the obstacle course, parachute, tug-of-war, sponge race, egg and spoon race, sack race, three-legged race, hula hoop games, limbo, quoits, sprints and football penalties. It was a fun day.

Thanks for coming to see us Baby Tom

James's brother, baby Tom made one last visit to see us in our classroom. We first met him when he was five months old and then again when he was eight months old. Now he is one year old now and much bigger. He can stand up and walk a few steps and he can eat mostly the same food as James now.

Thank you to Tom's dad Brendan who brought him in to see us this time and his mum Lorraine who brought him in the last two times.

Works of Art

There were some very creative responses to our Art Appreciation oral language homework. Have a look at these remakes of famous paintings.

Teddy Bear's Picnic

What a lot of fun we had on the astro turf having our Teddy Bears picnic. And we got a surprise when a real live teddy bear came to play with us!

Buddy came to visit us

Mrs White brought her little dog Buddy to school on Friday for a visit. He is a quiet little dog who loves to be petted. So he was very happy in Junior Infants for the day.
