Drama

We are doing a drama based on the book "Ladybird on a Bicycle". Here is a picture of us making a giant map of the ladybird's journey from the Ladybird Tree to the spider's web, to the grassy field, to the brim of a girl's hat, to the field of flowers, to the back of a cow, to a cabbage field, into a lady's basket and then back home.

Thank you for the shoe boxes

Thank you to everyone who filled up a shoebox full of lovely things for a girl or boy in a far away place who may not get a lot of presents this Christmas. They are now on their way across the sea to reach the children in time for Christmas!

Odds and Evens

We used pairs of socks to learn about odd and even numbers. You could do it at home too!

Traffic Survey

We went outside and did a traffic survey. Different people counted different vehicles during a ten minute period. When we went back into the class, we made a bar graph to represent what we had counted.

We found there were a lot more cars than any other vehicles.
