Fun day

We had an amazing day on Friday 11th June when Corvenieos brought their carnival to our school.

We had bouncy castles, knock-outs, an obstacle course, games, balloons, a magic show, candy floss, ice cream, burgers and hotdogs!

Planting sunflowers

 We are planting sunflowers in memory of Amelia Mullan from Moville in Co Donegal who died in a car crash with her brother and father last year. Amelia loved sun flowers and she would have been in first class this year.

If you have an old pot at home, could you bring it in so that we can replant our sunflowers to bring them home. Thank you.

Making smoothies

 

We made smoothies with lots of different fruits. Here's the recipe:

Ingredients: oranges, strawberries, grapes, bananas, pineapple, mango, orange juice.

Equipment: blender, knife, chopping board

1. First cut up the fruit.

2. Then put the fruit in the blender.

3. Next add orange  juice to the blender.

4. Then turn on the blender.

5. Finally enjoy the smoothie.
