Autumn walk

We went for a lovely Autumn walk. Even though it was a lovely sunny day, we could feel that the weather is getting cooler. We saw some leaves falling off the trees and we picked some blackberries.

Trying to catch falling leaves!
These fellows are settling in for the winter.

Our Prayer Table

Thanks to the people  who brought in items for our Prayer Table. We got rosary beads, statues, holy water, bibles and holy pictures. And well done everyone on the art work:
We each made a cut-out of ourselves and gathered them all around Jesus. We painted  butterflies, flowers and the sun. Our handprints are the grass. We made clouds and wrote the names of our deceased relatives and friends on them. During prayer services, we light a candle and gather around our lovely prayer table.

Learning through play

Play is an essential part of the Infant classroom. It provides plenty of opportunities for developing language skills, social skills, imagination,  maths and literacy skills, hand-eye coordination- as well as being lots of fun!
