Good bye and thank you Miss Smith
We have had Ms Grace Smith teaching our class for the past 5 weeks. Ms Smith is a past-pupil of the school. We would like to thank her for all her interesting lessons and for her kindness to us.
Magnets
We did some experiments with magnets this week:

| We used a magnet to move a train around the track without touching it. |

| We tested to see if a magnet would work through various materials eg a cup, a glass, a piece of cardboard etc. |

| We made a compass by magnetising a needle and floating it on water. |
 |
| We magnetized a nail by rubbing it with a bar magnet. |
 |
| We tested different metals to see which were attracted to magnets: Aluminium cans, tin cans, coins, tinfoil,paperclips etc |
